Happy New Year with the Family!
Who says just because you can’t go out and drink all night you can’t have any fun? With all the news about gangs and people shooting up nightclubs, we rather avoid a crowd and stay home!
Maybe we are old now, (of course we are parents!) but we can’t wait to spend the night counting down with the kids.
We plan to start the new year right by spending the last few days of the holidays together in creativity!
Here are some ideas I might be trying with my family this year, and maybe you can with yours too:
1) Reminisce Favorite moments of the past year! It’s great to think of all the great moments, why not relive them together before making room for new memories.
2) Try creating a family photo album together. Scrapbooking is a fun family event.
3) Plan your resolutions together! Talk about what the future may hold and all the dreams and aspirations each person has. Get the conversation going and give everyone a turn! Be encouragine of ideas. Talk about each other.
EG. Who will get the best grades? Who will learn the most stuff? Where should we go on vacation this year?
4) Learn about Each other! Ask questions such as what is your favorite color right now? If you had 3 wiches what would u use them for?
5) Dance dance dance! Put on some music and get your boogie on…then vote on the best dance moves!
